# Hemingway Special

> Hemingway Special, the IBA official recipe: 60 ml white rum, 40 ml grapefruit juice, 15 ml maraschino liqueur and 15 ml lime juice. Shaken and served up in a chilled cocktail glass.

A double Daiquiri with grapefruit and maraschino and no sugar, the way Hemingway drank it at El Floridita.

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

- 15 ml (½ oz) [Lime juice](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/lime/index.md)

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
2. Shake well and strain into a large cocktail glass.

## Garnish

None. IBA serves it without a garnish.
