# Chartreuse Swizzle

> Chartreuse Swizzle, the IBA official recipe: Green Chartreuse, pineapple juice, lime juice and falernum. Built in the glass and served over crushed ice in a tall glass.

- Strength: about 17.4% ABV once diluted by ice, about 1.5 standard drinks (14 g of alcohol each)
- Volume: 113 ml (3¾ oz) before ice, about 152 ml in the glass
- Taste: Sour, Sweet, Fruity, Herbal, Tropical

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

- 30 ml (1 oz) [Pineapple juice](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/pineapple/index.md)
- 22.5 ml (¾ oz) [Lime juice](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/lime/index.md)
- 15 ml (½ oz) [Falernum](https://jigger-5rd.pages.dev/ingredients/falernum/index.md)

## Method

1. Pour all ingredients into a tall glass, add pebble ice.
2. With the help of a swizzle stick (or cocktail spoon) mix vigorously, complete by filling the glass with more pebble ice.

## Garnish

Mint leaves and grated nutmeg.
