# Aviation

> Aviation, the IBA official recipe: 45 ml gin, 15 ml maraschino liqueur, 15 ml lemon juice and 1 bar spoon crème de violette. Shaken and served up in a chilled cocktail glass.

## Ingredients

Amounts are for one drink. Ounces use 30 ml to the ounce.

## Method

1. Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
2. Shake with cracked ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

## Garnish

Optional Maraschino Cherry.
